About Botox Cosmetic
Botox Cosmetic is an FDA-approved treatment that targets frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet to leave your face looking like you, only with fewer noticeable facial lines.
Botox is a fast and easy way to achieve a more youthful look. The procedure is minimal and can be done quickly so you can get back your busy life.
How it Works
Botox is made of the botulinum toxin type A and when used in very small amounts temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet. When Botox is injected into these muscles, it blocks the nerve signals to the muscles which helps the muscles from contracting, causing the wrinkles on the surface to temporarily reduce or disappear.
Where to treat
- Frown Lines – Frowning causes the muscles between your brows to contract. Botox is very effective in reducing the appearance of these lines (the “11s”).
- Crow’s Feet – Squinting and smiling causes the muscles around your eyes to contract, causing crow’s feet.
- Forehead Lines – Raising your eyebrows causes the muscles in your forehead to contract, creating forehead lines.
- Lines Above the Lips
- Lines on the Neck
- Treatment for Hyperhidrosis (reducing underarm sweat)
- Lip Flip: $100
